2021 marked the last dressage show (1) at the CHP. Eventing was already pretty much gone. Last year and this year, the CHP was leased to the Langer group for hunter/jumper shows ONLY. Now they have canceled the spring shows. The rumor mill is saying that this is because the CHP was sold to a developer. Does anyone know anything about it?
According to the tax assessor site it was last sold in 2015.

True, but the rumor mill (I am local) says the due diligence is still happening and the worst rumor I heard (from multiple sources) is that the property is being developed into condos and townhomes which would require extensive permitting. But those are rumors. I do know that the May hunter/jumper shows have been canceled.
I sure hope it doesn’t get developed, it would be a huge loss to the horse community.
