Does Anyone Know Where I Can Get a Fly Whisk Made?

I, unfortunately, had to put my old man down 2 days before Thanksgiving. He had a lovely tail, and I have it now. Does anyone know where I can get a fly whisk made out of it?

Eleanor Hartwell, huntsman for Bridlespur, makes them, at least I hope she still does because I have some tail hair from a couple of horses and keep meaning to do the same thing!

I have a friend, Cheryl M., whose son makes lovely whisks – she’s in VA. If you can get to Covertside online her email and contact is there – pm me if you can’t find it and I’ll pass along. Her son has been making them since he was like 12 years old and they are incredibly good!

Thank you, retreadeventer. I found Cheryl’s contact information and emailed her.

Beverly, I also contacted Ms. Hartwell, but have not heard from her yet.

I hope I get a response from one of these ladies.

Oh hey, I know Cheryl but didn’t know her son made whisks, good to know!

Cheryl and her son contacted me right away!

This is his website: http://www.virginiawhipworks.com/

It looks like he does beautiful work.
