Does anyone out there have a Rodenator? Do they *really* work?

Title says it all . . .Mr. Sirensong is willing to part with the money for a Rodenator, but i told him I would check COTH for user reviews. I can’t believe there aren’t any!

We have a real problem with pocket gophers on our sandy 10 acres. We can’t trap enough to stay ahead of the game, and underground poison isn’t very effective (and the trenches left by the large-acreage agricultural poison dispensers are just as bad as the gopher tunnels).

Thanks in advance!

I looked up “rodentator” on google because I didn’t know what it was. There are quite a few used ones on sale and a few diy models.

Got barn cats?

No, but I wish we had groundhogs so I had an excuse to get one.

No barn cats–my neighbors shoot stray cats on sight. Besides, i am trying to deal with pocket gophers, which seldom come above ground.

The beauty of the Rodenator (besides the sweet explosions) is that it will collapse the tunnels. Our sandy soil+gopher networks=random sinkholes that you can’t see or detect until your horse steps on one and the ground collapses. Check this one out–Roxie sank up to her knee with me on her.
