Does anyone remember Arab/QH registry scam

Search really sucks these days.
Does anyone remember a scam where someone was registering QH as either full or half Arabians and competing in either reining or cutting. I think it was cutting. I think the farm involved was in CA or AZ.
Hubs and I were talking about the instances and breeds we know of where there have been unethical registrations within the breed or across breeds. He doesn’t remember this one at all. I tried to search multiple words and phrases and got nothing but explanations of quarabs. Basically the same results for every phrase I tried.

YES
Thank you!
I am usually pretty good at search words but this one stymied me on my phone. Maybe I need to check which one my phone browser is using?

Yep my phone browser has reverted back

If it helps at all, the search terms I used were arab quarter horse registry fraud and this was this first google hit. There was also a discussion board thread about it…apparently they also falsified the AGES of the horses, so they were older, competing against younger horses. Sneaky sneaky! Not very nice at all.

I would also say in a similar vein look up FCF Rhythm Nation and his offspring. The stallion that was half Saddlebred but registered as a Morgan and the lawsuits that ensued when his offspring were removed from the registry.

Yep that was one we talked about. Also there was a TWH where they redid all of the papers and a QH one as well. The QH was a son of the stallion and not the stallion on the papers and the TWH was I believe just another TWH in the same barn.

I did arabians quarter horses cutting papers pulled and it was the first two hits after I switched from the Brave search engine. Brave still pulled up Quarabs and the difference in breeds even after following your link!
At least I know it wasn’t saving searches and serving them up I guess…
