Does this actually exist? Minority-owned equestrian clothing brands in the US

Are there any minority-owned or Asian-owned equestrian apparel brands? I am writing a press release for an equestrian clothing line, and I can’t seem to find information on minority-owned brands. Does this actually exist? I want to present factual information in the press release.

the only thing I can think of, and it is not what you are seeking, I suspect, is Kerrits. Female originated for female riders.

Ariat was originally a female owned company.

There are many female owned equestrian wear and tack companies.

Five Star Tack was female owned.

As far as races of those females? I have no idea.

Many equestrian companies are female owned. There are quite a few POC owned companies too, but it’s not something advertised or made a point of.

Thanks! I love all the women-owned businesses. Let me know if you come across any minority-owned equestrians brands.

I love all the women-owned businesses. Do you have any examples of POC-owned equestrian apparel companies?

You might want to browse Instagram some, there are a couple Black equestrian pages and I know I’ve seen them profile some companies but I can’t remember specific names. Polo companies would be another place to look.

I don’t think Ariat is minority-owned, but they are currently (or at least recently) sponsoring Brianna Noble, the Bay Area BLM protest rider.

Robert Dover has one, but it’s stillborn due to lack of actual product. He wanted to put out Vegan cruelty-free tack and apparel made from natural plant-based materials and the chosen materials and manufacturing capabilities just didn’t work out.

Solid citizen has some really great pieces. I own several of her tops and the quality is on point.

Thanks, @halla!

Thanks, @EsqEquestrian! What is the price point for their tops?

Thanks for sharing, @LexInVA! A very interesting concept for an equestrian clothing line.

Thanks for sharing, @QuestionMark! They are woman-owned!

Ariat was originally owned by two women but the company was sold about a decade ago to the Fisher Family. The Fisher Family that started Gap Corporation. Think the sons run things now. They are Jewish; if that meets the ethnic criteria?

Thanks for your note! I’m looking more for minority founder/current owners.

I just ran across this company: https://rivieraequisports.com/
