Hi friends,
We’ve had a new shelter dog for about a month/six weeks who was spayed at the shelter. She’s been an itchy little critter ever since we brought her home and a change to good, corn-free food has not changed this. Nor has a daily Benadryl. It occurred to me today that perhaps she’s allergic to the dissolvable spay sutures. Have you knowledge of such a thing?
Vet is closed…otherwise I’d ask them.

cant speak for dogs but I have a friend that is allergic to some types of sutures. Also, can’t speak for your local allergens but right now the oak pollen in Central Fla has my one dog itching; took him for a shot about a week ago to solve that problem. His is an annual event, lol.
