His stitches were removed today.

Himself is doing very well, and enjoying the process of gaining some weight. In his 2 years of life I have never seen him eat like this!
The post surgery diarrhea has been brought under control with Proviable, and a little bit of BioSponge. Yay, I finally get to sleep through the night!
Ideally, he will be on the meds for another 2 months, but it depends on his liver and if he can tolerate them for that long.
If anyone wants to send strong, resilient thoughts for Himself’s liver our way, they will be gratefully accepted.

Jingle, jingle, jingle!! So glad to hear the update.
Himself is doing very well and the vets are pleased with his progress. His latest blood work shows minor changes in some of his liver values, but his vets all concur that it is safe to continue his anti-fungal treatment.

Sorry I’m late with an update ZuZu, my computer has been snafued.
Himself has finished all treatment. We got the blood titers back this afternoon, and as far as the vets can tell he is cured!!! He will need probios and B-12 supplements for life, but he will have a life.(Knocks Wood)
