Doing business with JILL BURNELL? BEWARE.
Is that the same horse as this one that came up on a google search or another one entirely?

“Apparently, all of Jill Burnell’s craziness and frauds have finally caught up with her. There is a big thread over on Crotch. I know, sorry, but I went over there because a friend of mine bought a foal from Jill recently that Jill sold to someone else before my friend could get from PA to TX to get it and I just heard from a few people about the thread.”
“Crotch”? :lol::lol::eek::lol:

Well there’s the proof! Of course the humane society is investigating her!

I’m happy to see the county enforcing her numerous code violations.

Did I miss something or did ratemyhorsepro just add 4 more pics?

ETA, nope, they’re definitely adding more pics. Check the article again, there’s already 5 more, including a great bike picture.

Marin County is tough. It takes at least two years to get through the planning department. The permit process is a bitch. A friend, who’s a contractor in Marin, won’t buy land there, because he know’s too well the hoops you have to jump through, in order to build.

Holy. Sheet. What a dump. The new place is MUCH worse than I’d imagined.

She’s got a big flatscreen TV in her trailer! WTF

ETA just noticed all the Med vials on the dirty trailer table. I’m guessing come spring that table would have also been processing all her semen if the Humane Society and County had left her alone.

The wind comes through there, as well as the storms from the coast. I see no shelter from the winds for the horses. They must have really suffered during the 3 weeks, in December, when we got 20 inches of rain. It was nasty!

Truly one of the funniest autocorrects (I assume) ever. Forget CoTH. We have now become Crotch.

Wouldn’t it be funny if it turned out that all those bikes are stolen?
I don’t think anything can be considered “funny” about this situation.

It is tragic all around ,for the horses, and for the people who have been decieved by this woman. I’m sure this whole mess is also difficult for Jill’s (uninvolved) family members, such as the OP.

No, I don’t see fat jokes in this circumstance as funny either.

I am relieved that the horses will continue to be looked after by Marin Co. Hopefully an end in sight to this nightmare.

o.0 … 'nuff said.

Collecting bicycles is really a better hobby. No feeding, no shelter, no collecting and being careful not to contaminate anything…
Kudos to the judge and to Marin County for going after not only the animal issues but the other violations.
Whoever sold her the property must have been as good a liar as she is!

From what I have seen of the “Diva” site , not an auto correct, but an expression of contempt.

How can anyone live in such filth?? I mean the horses have no choice, but how does a human voluntarily live in those conditions??

And, while I know he isn’t big to behind with, did anyone else notice how small Aloha looked in the one picture? Not that it really has anything to do with anything, it just struck me…

That was my ASSumption also.

Did I see that she claims not to own RS any longer … that he was sold to Ronda Stavisky (whoever she is???)

Oh well; either way I got my laugh in for the night. I long ago stopped caring about asshats or their opinions.

So, Romantic Star was sold before the seizure and the new owner Ronda Stavisky is unaware of his condition AND is represented by Weems (Jill’s attorney).
I’d want a different attorney, than the one representing the person accused of neglecting the horse, if I owned him. Just sayin…

Isn’t it “strange” that the stallions were sold? I wonder who will claim to own Redwine now??? Still, no matter who owns them, JB is responsible for their (lack of) care. Again… was it really legal?

Just a little stallion syndicate developing. What’s wrong with that :disgust:

Rising Star farm. She stands several (well thought of) stallions in Georgia. She posts here.

Several = eleven. Twelve with Romantic Star (if she really did buy him…hard to tell with JB)
