If someone out there reading this has some kind of proof of tax fraud–not speculation, but actual proof–the IRS has a form for reporting that information here, along with the kind of information they want. However, bear in mind that a lot of the GFF profits probably fall under the umbrella of her business, which would also allow her deduct a lot of expenses, so there may not really be as much “profit” to report as you’d think after all is said and done.
Judging by the state of her ‘office’ and ‘lab’ no way did she keep decent records to prove she actually paid the taxes…
Having just done a little research, i found the following:

THE FOLLOWING FOALS NEVER ARRIVED:
- Corlandia
- Mistletoe
- Debutante
- Metsonized
- Lucky Karma
- Cash Lake
*she also though All of the above was due may 6 (Redwine/All of the Above OLD by Buntspecht de Lauzelle May 6 SOLD) when in reality she foaled mid-late august.
I understand not knowing exact dates, or having the mare abort and having to rebreed but I’m not sure this is the case here. Seems like she is in over her head and doesn’t really have an organizational skills to manage anything let alone her own puppy mill.
Can anyone i.d. the horse in the pipe corral next to the poo pile? For some reason, the image of it lying there in the corner with what looks to be no bedding other than the poo mush keeps haunting me.
Ps. Good detective work rapazzini09!

One of the babies in the pile of dead ones was Debutante’s. As I understand it, she was turned away at a hospital for lack of funds.
Not sure who others are, but she mentioned something about one not getting out of the sac in time. That tells me she missed the foaling.

Just going off the mares on her website, it looks to be the Westy mare. However, that is purely a guess.
She may have kept decent records for the taxes. It’s one of the first things you do after tracking breedings and so forth. GGF also has a really nicely done and well kept up website. What she needs as well though, is an administrative assistant and a housekeeper.
This makes me so sad. I looked into purchasing Debutante from her former owners as a riding horse, but she had been injured. Do you have any idea what happened to her?

Someone on this forum bought the Romantic Star/Mistletoe that was due this year, I would be interested to know if it was born/if she has seen it, etc… Should be a really nice foal…
ETA: Maybe I am getting senile and that was last year…At any rate, I wonder how many people will get the in utero’s they paid for…
It is absolutely crazy to me that you are defending Jill in this matter as it is the pot calling the kettle black. Jill is hands down the worse person I know for using the internet social network to spread rumors and untruths to hurt other people and/or their businesses. I do have proof that she has done this to our business as well as several others. Check out this thread - http://www.chronofhorse.com/forum/showthread.php?t=240534 - and look at the posts by posters that were banned from posting. Guess why they were banned …
On another forum, she tried to spread the rumor that we were lying about Apiro having fractured his hock and that we were hiding the fact that he had a disease called DSLD. I had never heard of it before, so had to look it up!:lol::lol:
http://dsldequine.info In response, I posted the radiologists report and I invite anyone who questions our honesty to come see Apiro any time.
She has contacted our clients as well as potential clients in an attempt to try to perpetuate the above rumors.
Jill has also copied and used items off our website word for word, such as our breeding discounts. I could go on and on …
I can tell you for sure that when I posted that we were going to breed to Apiro, JB sent me a pm that he had many problems that I didn’t know about etc…and cautioned me against breeding to him. And au cantre we had an excellent experience with Barbara and an amazing colt, we are in love with as are everyone else who sees him!
I usually just lurk in threads like this but i just can’t. Dead babies, so many people scammed… shame on her!!
As one person recently said, it would be a good idea to gather up the “SOLD”’ monetary value of any foals from her previous years crop… screenshot those pages before they go away. Does anyone have PDF writer so they can save the pages? I don’t anymore.
From the nursery page… 18 foals “sold” in 2011 with the remaining 7 not a single one listed for under 12k. If she negotiated and actually “sold” all of those foals for an average price of 7k that would be 126k of REPORTABLE income from this alone.
Extrapolate her shipped semen income via the foals currently on the ground and showing… that are not these foals… well you get the drift.
It would be VERY WISE to send this information to the IRS. Someone with her laissez faire attitude about keeping animals alive (EG: dead bathtub chickens, multiple foals dead under a single blanket), the rest of her house in tatters, the MULTIPLE and ongoing attempts to square up paperwork. There is no way (NO. WAY.) this person did the right thing by taxes and reporting income. And this is probably the quickest way to crumble her castle.
It is hard to get the government to do the right thing when the rest of us are stolen from, or if animals are abused. But if you do it wrong on April 15th only god (or not even him) can help you.
Well I talked to my CPA, won’t work as horses are a losing business among other things. I wish I hope I support those doing.
Come on. Speculating about her tax status is dumber than speculating about whether or not her horses are in good physical condition. Once again, I say in terms of this forum: “who cares?!” I care about the breeder’s and mare owner’s out there who may get suckered in to doing business with her and making sure they make an informed decision so they can protect their horses and their cash. That’s about it.
N. Divina, horse breeding is not a losing business when you collect money without delivering goods or use the services of others without paying them. It’s also a good way to rinse the money, via horse purchases, from some other attached family business.
This makes me so sad. I looked into purchasing Debutante from her former owners as a riding horse, but she had been injured. Do you have any idea what happened to her?
No, sorry I do not.
well, if the IRS has an interest in her, I am sure the breeders won’t get but sloppy seconds.
is it relevant? Likely not. However, looking at the situation from many angles, I’d say it’s likely she isn’t on the up and up there either.
which in turn might take her out of the business for a while should she be invited to spend some time at the state’s expense…
EVA question here…
are there any requirements that her other horses, studs in particular, need to be tested so often since she has an EVA positive stud on the premises, very likely within respiratory spreading rate (amung other unkempt practices…)
what are the chances that her other stallions at stud could be shedders of EVA?
No way of knowing without testing all of the stallions, BUT - they may have all been tested and subsequently vaccinated. If they have been vaccinated, the risk of them being shedders of the virus is low.
As Redwine is a persistent shedder, he sheds the virus through his semen, not through respiratory secretions. The other stallions (if they are not vaccinated) would have to come into direct contract of sex gland secretions in order to be exposed. That “could” occur if say, Redwine was collected on a breeding mount and another stallion was subsequently collected on the same mount relatively soon after. The virus doesn’t survive well in the natural environment. Hope that helps!
Does someone know whether she still has Radieschen ? I know that mare and her breeder
Radieschen means/is a little Raddish
She is certainly still on the website:
http://grayfoxfarms.com/radieschen.htm
And I think someone earlier in this thread mentioned she was bred again this year, despite having totally shot fetlocks behind (IIRC.) I’m sure a search of this thread would turn up that post.
She was recently tagged in a photo of Federalist notice the huge swollen weepy eye with discharge and fairly prominent ribs on the tiny portion of side you can see.
https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn1/522000_3078349175972_372389449_n.jpg
But Radieschen is a bay? Are you talking about another horse?
