So just FYI I decided to start my own forum.* It is for horse owners and breeders who choose to make up their own minds regarding GFF and their stallions.* Stick to facts and frown upon fairytales that grow beyond the truth and are fueled by haters and other small time breeders who see this as a way of upping their sales.
*
Though many of you claim to not want to bash Redwine or any other GFF stallion that is what you are doing.**Your filly only got her jump from Pablo, rightDiane? And folks like Laurie, Annie and Diane seem to be trying really hard to ensure that no foal from a GFF stallion will be of any value in the future. God forbid something happens and you need to sell one of your fillies. Why not attatch a dreaded label to it, right Diane?Laurie is safe right? Let’s write down that date,oh yes only foals born AFTER 4/5/11 will be subject to the witchhunt. And screw the fact that some of these offspring will exist because the owners had contracts with Jill that they wanted filled.* They do not have the luxury that Diane, Kathy and others may have to just write it off and take a monetary loss.
*
So in my forum I will then I willencourage those who don’t like the politics of this group to boycott the stallion owners posting on this thread and the small time breeders who keep fueling this beyond what it should be. For as it was said long ago there is more than just a touch of jealousy that is keeping this thread from staying fact based.
*
I am truly sickened by some of the comments I have heard from people I have been told were “upstanding” citizens in the breeding world.* If you think what Jill has or has not done is bad turn your mirror around and look at yourself.* Those of you who can say you have not lied or exaggerated, good for you.* For the rest you should be ashamed.[/QUOTE]
Roy Parker;
I have unfortunately not figured out who you are but here’s my take on this:
This thread was not started because everyone was a bunch of bored horse owners who just wanted to have some fun on the internet. Obviously that could get everyone in a host of trouble. I’m trying to make sense as to why you would think these horse professionals would “make up” these stories and post them on a world-wide forum under their everyday real names. These are people who OWN redwine (or other offspring from stallions from GFF) and are HAPPY with their foals. The only sad thing is that Jill is forever attached as baggage to these offspring. The truth is; theyre not happy with Jill’s business practices in this industry and they feel compelled to warn others before they go down that route. Your logic makes no sense Roy.
The only person Jill has to blame is herself on this one. She started shoveling her own hole many months ago and now look where it’s gotten her. We do not deny that Aloha, Redwine, Federalist, and Romantic Star are great stallions. We do not deny the quality of broodmares either. The only great thing is that Jill bred none of them…she bought them and therefore I don’t give her any credit for producing these broodmares or stallions; they are simply a form of a money factory for her.
What we find unfortunate is the lack of quality care for any of them, the fact that she screwed the biggest names in the country out of their money she owes them, the fact that she sells foals with no papers, will not register foals to associations that require DNA verification, sold semen to Canada that was EVA positive but didnt take the proper export requirments, Took breeding fees from clients but never supplied them their product they purchased, took purchase money but never supplied the buyer with the horse they bought, she mis-led any buyer/client through her website with pictures of pretty foals galloping through green fields of grass (leading everyone to believe they were well-cared for, healthy, and recieving proper nutrition), she bad-mouthed other very reputable stallions in the industry on public forums, she illegally stole professional photos from facebook and webpages to use to her own benefit, falsely informed clients about the effects and risks of EVA, collected and distributed semen through a disgusting/unorganized lab leading to infection risk and EVA contamination risk to the other stallions; should I continue on?
Roy; let’s be realistic here. The facts are out and Jill Burnell of Gray Fox Farm is a thief and has continued her business practices in a very fraudulent manner. The only unfortunate thing in this mess is these poor horses are still in her care and she has screwed numerous people out of their hard-earned money. This thread is long overdue and it’s about time that the world knows the true colors of Jill Burnell. This is an observational opinion; take it as you wish
