Don't beat a dead horse (bad pun intended) - A small rant...

If you purchase a horse and signed a contract to make the final installment by a specific date, just pay it.

If you find you don’t have the money to pay in full, pay what you can. Don’t be an ostrich and hide your head in the sand hoping the contract will disappear, it won’t.

If you are a trainer and act as an agent for a client who hasn’t met the terms of a contract - don’t “stretch the truth.” Is your business worth so little to you that you are willing to lose it for one client?

Paperwork assembled to file in court tomorrow.

Ohhhh…you teaser you…

Sounds like there’s a story here…

Yes, I wonder how long we will have to wait to hear the story.

Forever, I expect.

The only reason the seller would have to file paperwork to get the final payment on the sale horse involved would be if the seller had allowed the purchaser to take the horse before paying in full. If that’s the case here, the OP will not tell the whole story because of the inevitable CotH pile on over letting the horse go without full payment that would result.

OP, I hope you get your money promptly.
