(Double) Bridle Bag Suggestions

I’m looking for a bridle bag for a double bridle. I’ve found the basic one from Dover isn’t sturdy enough and I feel like I’m cramming everything in. Any suggestions?

Thanks!!

I have the Stubben one. It’s just amazingly beautiful.

A little on the pricey side but beautiful.

I have an awesome blue plaid bridle bag made by Toklat that I acquired several years ago. It’s big enough to fit 3 bridles, but I usually just it for one in addition to an extra halter when I go away to shows. Unfortunately, I don’t see any bags on their website except the Woof Wear one, and I can’t testify to the durability and quality of that one. The Centaur bags that Dover carries aren’t bad. I don’t have one, but the quality seemed pretty decent when I last looked at them at one of the stores.

I don’t know what brand, but I have a more “western” type bridle bag that is a cylinder with quilted fabric and it’s much longer than the other bridle bags I’ve got and seems to be better about not squishing the brow band and nose band. The only issue I have with it is it’s only got one hook at the top (so one bridle fits).

I thought it was a Big D but I don’t see it online.

Maybe someone can make you a custom one?

The Big D ones are some of the best out there. Not always the “prettiest” though.

Thanks all for the suggestions!

I love these bags from Schneiders: https://www.sstack.com/english_cases/dura-tech-supreme-single-bridlehalter-bag/ Good quality, reasonably priced, thick to protect your bridle, and I’ve never had a problem with the snap coming undone and I cram mine full so they’re heavy. They also have a double-sided one and an extra-large.

I have the Woof wear one and its too narrow, I do feel I’m squashing everything in, especially the weymouth bit and have trouble doing up the zip. Its not padded, so my bridle looks as daggy coming out as it did going in! I do however have the Noble Outfitters top boot bag, and it is seriously nice. They make bridle bags too I think.dd

That’s what I use.
