I wanted to come back and update this for anyone that may be struggling with the same issue. The winning combination seems to be the Neue Schule Slimma, a single joint eggbutt bradoon and an Equi-Fit curb guard. He’s a much happier horse in this combo and doesn’t get “stuck” like he did previously. Thanks for all of your suggestions!
