I think Alex said a few pages back that Katie rode Bullwinkle.
So what finals did Lindy Patrick win?
I recall reading in a HORSES issue (which of course I can’t find at the moment ) that she won or was second in hunt seat, saddle seat AND western finals??? Pretty awesome accomplishment!
Karen MacKelvey’s Rainforest. Rode with George, et al. Happened at Lake Placid, 1985 or thereabouts.
(It was discussed on the PV thread, not here…)
James Paxon had the rangy TB
YD! I know where Alice is! I meant the other one! We keep asking where SHE is! But, yes, you are half right – keep guesing…
Yellow Dog the Ohio one is too easy!!
Court-Lin-Fra
Courtney Phibbs, Lindsay Phibbs and their Brother who doesn’t ride.
Lord Helpus,
I rode with Joan Kerron (now Curtin) at Portland Riding Academy/Sunwood Farms. And then subsequently with Dale and Suzie Balenseifen at Mountain Park Stables in Lake Oswego.
I know those wouldn’t have been the horses you were thinking of, but it was fun knowing those particular horses did come from our barn and then did well in other parts of the country.
I definitely do remember a big chestnut horse named the Godfather and thought he had gone to Dianne Grod but I must have been hallucating, obviously - or thinking of another horse by that name. My memory must have been playing tricks on me this many years later. LOL
“Of course, that’s just my opinion. I could be wrong.” - Dennis Miller
I don’t think Shelia had that pony. Am I wrong?
I think Yellow Dog was caring for Boing at the Pan Am games…
Lets see now: Michael Sasso, Anna Jane White and ??? one of the Leones?
Would that be Debbie Shaffner Stephens?

Alex Trebek or Rexford: I am still waiting a reply on the “other” Baskowitz sister’s name that I mentioned days ago: Curtiss??? So if I’m right for double jeopardy points where did Curtiss go to college?
Hey guys im just being faithful to my trainer, which by the wayis the answer to the question.
KATRINA D’ANCA
ThreePiO was her Eq Horse, and Jr Hunter
People’s Choice ws her Jumper
By Request washer First jr hunter
Woodbine was her Large pony
MHM-
Petey is EXCELLENT. He is THE BEST pony ever. We love him to death! Hes going to be for lease after Devon, altho katrina is trying to find a way to afford him and then eventually retire him to her farm when hes done teaching kids how to do the large ponies.
We love Petey!
Emily
Portrait Painter
Whispering Hill
Something that Don Stewart had with Michael Matz
My brain has melted, though.
I believe Linda Wasserman owned the mare. She was a Jr maybe Amateur that rode with Joey.
Mr Bumpkin has no clue, but I chose the name Devon for my daughter’s middle name, because I loved the lovely grey hunter Devon.
He was sold from here to the East coast many years ago and passed away a few years back.
I also used Devon because of the area of England where the JRT was originated, but whenever I think or hear her middle name the horse, Devon, comes to mind first.
I can see the woman now and only can remember her first name…it was Amy Brumder (?) who rode Fair Wwarning

LOL Story of my life - wrong horse, wrong class, no prize! How’d I come up with what, the answer? I just tried MAD’s trick and thought of the only gray jr. horses I could recall from that time/location!
Name the highly successful bay mare, and rider, shown in the juniors in the '70’s by a woman who went on to international fame in the jumpers and whose daughter is a successful pony catch rider.

What was Leslie’s original name, and why did she change it to her mother’s stage name?
More trivia- a friend of mine is Leslie’s mom’s next door neighbor in Wellington. They discuss gardening sometimes.

Leslie’s first of many last names was Lush. That should explain the switch to Burr.
Lauriep
I guess I have to disqualify myself from answering your question about well known owner from your home state, etc. etc.
(or is it a trick question?)
I will answer subpart b (to the unasked question of: What trainer in Lauriep’s home state handled the very famous owner’s horses BEFORE they were handled by said famous national trainer and then the famous protege):
Answer: Who is Hans Senn?
And what other wonderful hunter did he develop for another client?
