Hello to all on this thread, I hope some of you see this message. I am collecting stories and the breeding bloodlines of Doug Dean. Many of those who knew and loved Doug were shocked by his sudden passing in March of 2020. Many in the horse world do not know he is gone. I am a long time family friend and writer and am collecting stories for, and about, Doug and his horses. You can’t talk about Doug, without talking about his horses. I was a part of Doug’s life when Cozy’s Commander arrived on the farm. I can tell you how sure he was of that young horse. I was there.
