Doug Payne Given A Dangerous Riding Penalty at Jersey Fresh

Guys, I can see that. And absolutely if you do something hunting that endangers someone else-well maybe, if you did it all the time- or God forbid endangers a hound you are sent home and maybe permanently. BUT hunting, if you went over some tricky stuff then that’d just be your deal. Landowner’s crops way different!!!

So if Ol’ Doug buzzed a judge or a spectator, etc. then I certainly understand his being penalized, especially if he did it all the time. The thing about stuff like that, to me, is that it leaves an open end. People may find Doug obnoxious, he may be obnoxious, so they penalize him when they wouldn’t someone else, if the rule is open ended. Remember though I don’t even know who you’re talking about so I’m making this part up.

I can also see if a rider that seemed not too experienced shoved their horse at a jump way too fast over and over and missed a bad fall through luck, that they might get a penalty.
So did Doug go some alternative way-jumped a bush? And there might have been someone on the other side, though there wasn’t, he couldn’t have known that.

Is that right?
And thanks for the information!!!
