Douglas - VDL Stallion

Hi:

Anyone have a US Douglas foal. If so could I see pictures?

I am not familar with any Douglas foals in the US but I must say the Douglas son offered frozen by Majestic gaits I thought has an amazing jump. He is out of a Heartbreaker/Mr Blue mare so that sure may add to the jump department. While he does not look to have a snooze button I think Dallas VDL is ridden by a women in the stallion shows which I always consider a plus.

Perhaps there are more Douglas foals in Ireland, where he did (or does) stand?

We have one coming this spring from a Casall / Quinar / Capitol I mare … should be a jumping fool!

WB Equestrian Inc in FL bred to him and has a 2009 model out of a Cardento mare.

Janko recommended him to us for our Condios x Ekstein mare and said that he is producing very nicely for them.

We have a three yr old who did very well at the mare test in holland. In foal to Zavall VDL. Nice type, larger frame, not a stand out in looks but HUGE scope. Douglas has been very popular with breeders in Ireland. Good Darco blood takes time, but they are great sport horses for many levels.

oooh la la, douglas, swoon me. you know that photo of him jumping a car made the top #10 scariest jumps list!
