Dove grey breeches with navy seat on TOTD today

They look a bit darker than what I consider dove grey, but I would think they are light enough for dressage.

I love Ovation breeches, but unfortunately they don’t have my size :frowning: Although these don’t have the sock bottoms, which is what I love about the ones I have.

What a steal! But are you sure the seat is navy? It looks dark grey to me (and I don’t see the seat color specified on the website).

They do have the sock bottoms, and the seat on the gray is dark gray. The dove gray is more like a medium gray in these.

It says hook and loop bottoms…

Not on the page I’m looking at that says dri-lex bottoms in the third bullet point.

I’ve never seen a pair of these that have Velcro bottoms. And I’ve been buying them for at least 5 years.

I think I have these breeches or some thing similar, the color on mine is a medium bordering on dark grey and the seat is black.

I would not consider them dove grey. But they are nice breeches!

Their description is confusing because it says both styles of bottoms!

= = = =

-A classic style with a slighty-looser-than-skin-tight-fit.
-Added Bonus: the Slim Secret tummy-flattening panel gives a smooth, streamlined look to your hips and stomach. Yes, it’s true.
-The Euroweave DX material is durable, never shrinks or fades, and is cool and comfortable. Features the Dri-Lex® Tec-1® comfort-tube bottom to help you stay cool & dry under your tall boots
-Dri-Lex® inner skin seat. The Dri-Lex inner skin transports moisture away from your body to the surface of the breech where it easily evaporates.
-Syn-Tech Stretch Suede™ full seat offers stretchy and grippy fabric with freedom of movement.
-Hook & Loop ankle closure, two stylized side pockets, and belt loops.

Me likey!

I have the dove grey breeches with navy seat and mine have the sock bottom:

Ah sorry. I thought the seat looked navy. But they are still cute!

Does anyone know how the Slim Secret compares to the Milano or plaid Ovations? I reaaally love my plaid ones but I have a feeling these would feel constricting and I’d never wear them.

They really don’t fit any differently than other breeches. They just have an extra piece of fabric in the front that has a lump-and-bump smoothing effect.

Does anyone know the size equivalent of 28, 30, 36 waist… to size 8, 10, 14…??? for the ovation. If I’m a size 10 in clothes, what size should I consider for the ovation?

A 10 in clothes is a 30 in breeches. Ovations run true to size. I wear a 12 in US clothes, and a 32 in Ovation breeches. IMO Ovations tend to be pretty average sizing - they fit me as an average sized adult - not “curvy” but definitely not a skinny teenager with no hips.
