The stitching on a new fly mask I had was coming apart after only a couple of weeks of use, like the area around the left eye was coming undone. I messaged a rep and she said “oh sorry that happened to you! I’m sending you a replacement right away!” She didn’t even want me to bother with sending it back, just to take some pictures of the defective one and to send them to SP. Got the new mask a couple of days later.

Dover really does honor their return policy. I got a pair of semi-custom Der Daus that rubbed the front of my ankles and sides of my knees not just raw, but bloody, and after wearing them maybe a half dozen times to show, the sole started to come unglued. Due to life circumstances, it was more than a year after I bought them when I was able to return them. The associate who helped me was more than happy to put me into a new pair of Sergio Grassos, at the lowest sale price, and take the awful Der Daus off my hands.
I usually buy smaller stuff from our local independent shop, but for big $$$ purchases I head to Dover.
