Has anyone else bought any of these bridle pieces? My current pony’s odd shaped head is too short for my vintage Beval bridle so I bought pony sized cheekpieces. Only paid $17 (with 20% discount) and I’m really surprised at how nice they are for the price. They blend in well enough with my old bridle (they don’t make 'em like that anymore) and aren’t obviously too different.
I might have bought a new crownpiece since my throatlatch is waaaaay too long for my pony but they make single crownpieces, where the noseband attaches on each side. I don’t use a noseband so there would be an extra strip of leather just hanging around. If I get around to it I might just have the local leather guy shorten the throatlatch for me.
