Dover Warendorf Classic dressage saddle?

I have a long femur, like many of us, and need a tilted block like this saddle offers. I sat in it yesterday and was very pleasantly surprised with the feel and quality. It’s made in the same factory as the Custom Saddlery saddles, and modeled after the Wolfgang Solo (is what I was told). The block is slightly shorter, but the flap is similarly forward, and the block angle seems to be the same. I had ridden in a friend’s Solo and really liked the position of the block, thus my search here.

My mare is a pretty typical, not particularly difficult to fit, TB. I am the tougher of the two of us when it comes to saddle fit, for sure.

Any of our resident saddle experts have opinions on this saddle? Anybody own one?

Bumping this as I’d also like to know. I’m a petite short rider with a long femur and I need a narrow twist. Horse needs a flockable saddle and I’d love one with a slightly curvy panel.

I’d like to hear opinions on this saddle too. Did you end up buying one @HiJumpGrrl ? A Custom Saddlery fitter suggested the Solo for me but new it’s out of my price range. I was already eying the Dover Classic and it’s super interesting to me that you heard it’s modeled after the Solo.

I purchased a Warendorf and sold it. The seat was too wide for me, and their wide is VERY wide and was too wide for my mare.

I didn’t get one. I ended up with a Kentaur that I got used instead. It has been kind to me. I do NOT like a narrow twist (dude, I birthed twins. Nothing about my seat that is narrow, although the rest of me is).
