“LIVER HAPPY”? Exactly what physiological phenomenon does one treat with LH, prey tell?

I have now, officially, Seen Everything!

You guys are dubbed the COTH “Woo-Dang Clan!” [/QUOTE]

I always appreciate posts from someone who has no knowledge about something and proclaims those who have experience with it idiots. Thank you.

And let’s not forgt that Chinese medicine has been around for far longer than Wesern medicine.

I also think the names are most likely influenced by the culture–if you think of the names of Chinese restaurants, “Liver Happy” does not seem like such an unlikely name for a Chinese medicine. <----Yes, medicine. These are prescribed by vets and are not available for purchase by the general public.

I’ve had nothing but good results with Dr. Xie’s herbs my vet put two of my horses on.

One horse had digestive issues the herbs successfully treated.

My IR horse has been on Hot Hoof I for 2-1/2 years. It is saving his life. It was either that or Thyro-L. He has lost much-needed weight.

He is able to go to pasture 8 hours every day, wearing a grazing muzzle. He wear a grazing muzzle and is on 20+ acres with his herd mates. He gets a lot of exercise and he’s still with his buds as opposed to be isolated in dirt.

Body Sore worked for my horse!

My horse is on Thyro L and in a grazing muzzle and on pasture for 18 hours.

That’s an old post:)

My horse has been in IR remission (and off the HHI) since 2015. He has not needed a grazing muzzle since 2015. He still only gets 8-10 hours of grazing.

Since I wrote that post, I have also laid my two elders to rest, who kept this horse safe from the bully. The IR horse now has his own six acres and the bully is in the rest of the pasture by himself. They run the fence together and each has their own entrance to the barn:)

At any rate, the IR horse is still chugging along, in remission, without the herbal compound or the muzzle:)
