Dressage attire spinoff - where to shop for the latest fashion?

My normal go-to shopping options don’t seem to have exciting new inventory in line with the updated guidelines for attire! I feel like somehow telling their buyers, “Big mistake, big, HUGE!” lol. Not that I have pockets that deep, but I am really excited to blow SOME of my budget on fun show clothes!

I have perused a few European sites and found some stuff, but where have you found a good selection?

I’m paying attention here. I’d love to find a medium brown coat that won’t break the bank. Medium brown isn’t even that fun and it’s hard to find.

Not sure what kind of “medium brown” you’re looking for but did you check out the coats by Fair Play? I have both the short and long tails in brown and I love them. They are European but I think there is at least one tack shop in Florida that carries them.

I did check them out and got excited until it turned out that every brown one, at least online, was sold out. :sob:

I live in SW Ohio, near KY, and there are a few places that do custom “frocks” for the saddleseat crowd. They actually aren’t hatefully expensive, so wondering if any more of those folks will move into custom dressage coats that won’t break the bank too much? Just hoping more options pop up! I saw some of the Fair Play jackets at a vendor booth at RRP this year - glad to hear they are a good option!

I second Equizone and Fair Play. I just got a Fair Play shad for 30% off at Equizone and the quality is better than expected for the price point. I like the fit and it runs true to size. Much better than my previous $750 custom tailcoat.
A word about Equizone - they ship from their warehouse in Germany to the UK where it hops on a plane to the US (they used DHL). So you’re not waiting a month to get something from overseas! I bought a pair of boots from Hypo store and I believe they are shipping via ocean vessel and not air so they might arrive next month…maybe.

I have been soo disappointed that there hasn’t been a big influx of new coat colors on the market. Still the same old black, navy and charcoal. Not really looking to go custom at this time, just want something off the rack that’s a bit different.

Huh, my Hypostore stuff comes within a week with PostNL - but I haven’t ordered anything the size of boots. I did just order $1200 of breeches though…

Maybe it is the box size. Although I ordered boots from Petrie that shipped with PostNL and they arrived in 3 weeks, but that was during the holidays. They made it to the US in two weeks and then sat in Chicago customs for a week. The Petrie boots didn’t fit so I wanted to try these from hypostore after the reviews.
I’m trying to decide when to throw in the towel - 30 days? 45 days? - and ask for my money back.
And of course I needed the boots last week when my Konig’s broke and gave me a nasty heel bruise that still hurts! So being patient is frustrating.
