I’m moving to the DC area for work soon and anticipate living in Alexandria, VA. A few horse friends are already settled there, but they drive all the way to places like Middleburg to ride and I can’t stand to be that far away from my gelding!
A few have said that places in PG County, Maryland are more accessible. Anyone have tips on a safe, quiet barn (indoor would be GREAT) where I could pick my trainer and farrier once I find them? Boarding barns that have lots of turnout and not so many lessons seem like they’re hard to find in that part of the country…
Any ideas? Please help! THANK YOU!
