I have quite large feet, 11 wide in womens and I struggle with finding boots that don’t squeeze my toes together any suggestions.
I have the same issues with a wide foot. I just got a pair of Arial Volants that are perfect for me. I looked a long time to replace my Mountain Horse boots, but could not find any one that still carries them. I was surprised the Ariat’s fit so well.
Ariat heritage RT paddock boots…round toes, high toe box, excellent
I have the same, 11 wide with a wide calf…Fred Flintstone feet. The only boots I can buy off the shelf are Petries. Dressage Extensions has them. These are dressage boots.
I agree that Ariat sells paddock boots in size 11 with a generous toe box. Ariat Heritage H2O work well for me.
I second both the Ariat RT paddocks and the Petrie talls. The only two boots I can wear.
I have extremely wide feet with squared off toes (D-E width). Petries fit me very well. I was surprised to find that the Konig footbed seems to fit me as well. Some models of Ariats squeeze me too much but others are okay. Try before you buy.
I just bought a pair of men’s boots-- they fit generously in the foot and calf, and they are made way tougher than my ladies boots (thicker sole, heftier zipper, heavier leather/lining).
I second the men’s boots! A man’s medium (D) is much wider than a woman’s medium (B), and a man’s wide (E-EE) is obviously even more roomy. Go down 1.5 sizes if you get a man’s. The calf sizes aren’t radically different (at least in my experience with Ariats). I haven’t noticed a quality difference with my men’s vs. my ladies’ boots.
