Have you seen GM’s new DVD? It’s described as his favorite dressage exercises that are helpful for the jumper rider. Any opinions out there or your reviews? Worth purchasing?? Thanks in advance!
I just rented this last week. I have added it to my “will purchase” list. It’s good, IMO.
Where can I find it? Any Canadian sources?

Can you provide a bit more elaborate review? Some idea of what he discusses, whether you’d think it worthwhile for someone already taking monthly dressage lessons, better for those with minimal flatwork knowledge and need to learn, etc?
Also, where were you able to rent it? I see Amazon has it to buy, but not stream, and it’s not available via Netflix.
It seems like GM is talking about good equitation/dressage basics more than he did in the past…or maybe I’m just noticing it I’ve audited a few clinics last year around the barn where I board. The clinicians are BNTs and they are also stressing dressage basics to riders - who only think of dressage as the fancy stuff they see at the Olympics. Many of the clinic riders looked absolutely lost when asked to leg yield or shoulder-in. Collecting or extending of gaits looked more like pulling or running, and attempts to counter-canter succeeded about 50%. And these are riders on the A-circuit! I’m going to suggest our farm buy a couple of George’s DVD and pass them around for viewing. Hope they don’t hate me!

If you’ve ever watched GM ride a horse during one of hs clinics you’ve basically seen this. I just happen to think having it at my fingertips is a good thing.
There are a couple of horse DVD rental sites. I use barnsweetbarndvds.com. It’s a nice way to 1)preview DVDs before purchasing for your personal collection and 2)watch horse DVDs that you have no interest in buying
