I went to that page, and it is old. said she moved, went to the link and it said Error. I did see her pictures on facebook page. Why are people like this? I think this is where social media is bad, it enables people like this.
Canadian dressage, you have my sympathy for having to deal with this person. The worst of the horse world.

…and the saga continues and this time it is Jill Irving who is the target of Dressage Hub’s altered reality. Sigh!!! Nastiness runs deep.
According to DH, SW characterized herself as a “complete stranger” when Ms. Irving “yelled”. at her to not film her. How can that be? SW is no stranger to Canadian dressage. She is well known for her unethical videoing and biased editing, having recently eviscerated Jill’s colleague Brittany Fraser with a creatively edited montage (my bad…I confused it again…evisceration with “awesomeness.”).
Would it not be reasonable to expect Jill to object when the camera turned her way given the expectation that the video would result in similar online treatment and reputation bashing? Is it also reasonable that Jill would need to yell (if indeed she did) so that interloper with the illicit camera could hear her objection from the ring?
Undaunted, SW has posted the “edited” version of Jill’s ride, edited cuz you know dressage viewers get bored easily…or just might notice the highlights…with allusions to “blue tongue” and the DH banner covering any pertinent information.
Complete stranger…phooey. There are other words…

I saw that and just rolled my eyes. First of all the “yelling” incident was 2 years ago, and I believe was the catalyst for SW being banned from filming at Global and the ramping up of her attacks on Jill, Brittany and all the other Canadian riders who publicly defended them.
As for the video I literally laughed out loud when I saw she had titled it “Dressage Disaster.” I was watching the live stream of the test and the horse had some tense, spooky and resisting moments. Not surprising given the gusty winds, everything blowing around the show grounds and the suddenly bursts of rain (probably accompanied by sudden opening of umbrellas and flapping garbage bags being placed over cameras.
It was a good ride in challenging circumstances and frankly any GP ride that scores mid 60s from a respected panel of FEI judges in a CDIW competition is obviously far from a “disaster.”

The good news is most of us don’t have to deal with her since she lives in Florida full time 
Only the top riders do and every time they go out and get rave reviews from Carl Hester at a clinic, get awarded a huge training bursary or throw down a mid-70s GP test, (congrats Brittany!) that’s better than any answer they could possibly make online to DH’s absurd posts about them.

Has she returned to Florida?
The upshot of the thread last summer was that SW had permanently returned to her hometown of Edmonton and promptly got into an embroilment at the Red Deer, Alberta, Mane Event horse expo.
Do you have any information that she has returned to Florida? It sounded like she had burned all her bridges there. Also Canadians cannot live indefinitely in the US.
I don’t follow her so I don’t know but my understanding was she was just visiting Alberta last year. She was complaining recently that she wasn’t allowed to film the Robert Dover Horsemastership week because of the live stream, so that indicates she is in FL, or at least was that week.
I don’t follow her either and haven’t looked at her page since last summer when I went to see what all the fuss was about.
Yes, she could be back in Florida either permanently or for the winter season. Or she could be in Edmonton putting up posts that make it sound like she’s in Florida again.

As a person that was subjected to SW & having a video stolen and posted on the Dressage hub… I have this to stay the best thing we can all do is ignore her and ignore her posts… she posts to get people to
react… she takes great pleasure in referring to people who attempt to stand up to her and this nonsensical behavior as her “monkeys”.
Our Canadian Riders are doing great in Florida and I continue to wish them the best. From a personal perspective I try my best to keep away from the dressage hub page and her video posts on YouTube. I don’t wish what I went through last year with having my video of my old retired gelding stolen and posted as if I submitted to her page, on anyone… that video just in case anyone was wondering was from 2011…
drawing attention to SW and the dressage hub contradicting anything she posts will make you a target. She will do her best to humiliate you. For me, it did have ramifications to my life… I have battled depression for all of my adult life and up until last year was to control with diet and exercise. The anxiety and stress I suffered as a direct result of her bullying behavior has me now on an anti-depressant / anti-anxiety medication. I know by me even making this post here that it may make me her target again. But all I can ask of all of you is please don’t give her the attention she craves… these type of posts feed her ego… completely…

@PaulaM I am sorry to hear she had that much of an impact on you. You are definitely not someone who deserved/deserves any sort of attack or belittling. I agree that she is best ignored and therefor disempowered.

I’m so sorry you have suffered because of her vindictiveness and craziness. I remember that all
happenig and it just made me sick. If anyone ever doubted her true nature that was all they need to know to confirm it.
I do normally stick to an “ignore” policy but when the naive / ignorant people who still follow her not only believe the BS she posts, but then start trashing riders’ reputations themselves based on what they read at DH, I sometimes have to speak up. I always ask people not to visit her page and not to click any of the videos, but to be aware of her shady practices and to check if they are following the page. If they are, UNFOLLOW.
I don’t want to be a target of hers either, believe me. I think she’s genuinely dangerously crazy. But there comes a point where I just can’t sit by and say nothing. Your story is exactly why

Shouldn’t we just feel sorry for her? She must be fighting some internal demons. What a sad and lonely way to go through life.

It was really heartbreaking to see this going around the internet. BF is a wonderful rider and her horse top class. Someone is jealous…and that is all you can really say about that.
no because she is maliciously messing with peoples lives and livelihoods by trying to destroy their reputations.
