Educate a gal from the south, please. Are there any good dressage facilities/trainers on Long Island?
Maybe check with LIDA (the GMO that covers that area) to see if they have a list of local trainers/barns? I think the dressage community on Long Island is really pretty small. I know they had to cancel their recognized show last summer due to lack of registrants. They do have several schooling shows throughout the year and clinicians. If you’re looking to compete recognized on a regular basis, CT and NJ have more options. I’m in Westchester and it’s pretty sparse here as well.
