Dressage phase glove color

I asked google and got a bunch of British sites. Please tell me what colors of gloves are acceptable for the dressage phase of lower level eventing in the US? Black or white? It’s been years since I’ve shown and I don’t want to look silly!

I usually wear black at the lower levels and only wear white if I’m wearing white breeches…which I don’t usually do at the lower levels.

Around here black is the norm for regular HTs.

Generally black, navy, or dark brown. Wear white only if your hands are very quiet and your horse is very steady; white accentuates any hand movements. I always wear white on my experienced horses, not so much on the green ones who may need a more obvious correction.

Competitors may compete without a jacket. In such cases, shirt - long or short sleeved with collar and without neckwear, of a conservative color, neatly tucked into riding breeches.

Thank you! I needed to order today. Now I can.

So I can wear a necktie and a button down under my coat instead of a show shirt and a stock tie?
