Did anyone see the video on the St-Georg.de with the woman beating her horse as a training method. Can someone explain this? Evidently, she was killed in an accident.
Yes, I saw the video. It didn’t show how she got killed it only showed her torturing the poor horse. The horse kicked her in the head and she died from her injuries. It’s sad that the horse had to take matters into his own hooves and kill her; but at least now she won’t be able to abuse any more helpless animals.
Are we talking the German trainer known as Christine W? That video is several years old, I believe.
I can’t find the video link, but a Google search of her name brings up old threads from both CoTH and Horse & Hound. She was fairly notorious for her horrifically abusive methods.
What can I say, karma, well, you know…
Strange it was just on my feed on FB like it was current
Don’t ever push a horse to the point they fear for their lives and are forced to defend themselves.
Sometimes people really do get what is coming to them.
I never heard about her previously (I was 17 at the time, and not current on the dressage world) but I watched the video. If that was mild, that woman deserved everything she got and more. She deserved it just for what was in that video alone. The reports say that she was training a horse; I’m assuming it was someone else’s, and I am floored that they would send the horse to her with her prior convictions.
Sad all around
If that is how she trained with all that whipping and hind feet flying all around her head I can see how that happened. I really can’t though say in good thoughts Karma will get you it just doesn’t seem right to me.
I thought this thread was going to be about this sad news about another dressage trainer which was in my newsfeed today. http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/news/tributes-flood-in-for-dressage-rider-killed-by-kick-to-head-503064?utm_campaign=hh22july2015-22-07-2015&utm_medium=email&utm_source=newsletter
I do recall the other video. Yes it was awful. Still I cant take pleasure in anyone dying . We dont know what happened that led to her death.
OMG, read those horror stories on the links below the article about those rescued horses. So many cruel and evil people in the world.

I wont read them. I find they give me nightmares.
That horse should be sainted. Too bad one didn’t do that to her years ago. Hope she enjoys spending eternity in Hell.
Poetic justice. I won’t shed a tear for her.
OK. I will say it: I’m going to toast to that horse.

This happens frequently with FB.
If you click on the name of the person who originally posted it (whatever “It” is), you can often get some idea of how old/new/current/false/ etc a thing going around social media might be.

The video was old but perhaps the death happened recently?
The article is showing that it was just published today. If it is old, perhaps something bumped it up unintentionally.

The article appears to be about her recent death- the video is from a much earlier incident.
That’ll teach her.

Ahh gotcha. It was the video that was old and much discussed. I misunderstood.
