Dressage!!!

It rains in England? It seems the crowd had no idea.

The BBC lady , who as earlier mentioned is an FEI dressage judge, has been decidedly scathing in her comments about NA standards of competition

Sheesh raining cats and dogs on the Irish rider!!! As my Irish daughter says - she’s probably used to it!

I just may do that. The NBC coverage sucks.
I recommend you do because the BBC coverage is so good; but I’ve had no complaints about NBC from my seat in front of my work computer (hospital frowns on proxies.)

My internet feed got slow at home but did I see Salinero actually HALT?
If you are referring to before the rein back, yes indeedy, and it was a lovely square one. Seems he has mellowed a bit…

It is entirely possible I’m just being stupid; but does anyone have handy the link to the live scoring? I can’t find the bloody thing.

ETA got it, and if anyone is also slow this morning like I am, http://www.nbcolympics.com/equestrian/event/dressage-individual/phase=eqx001900/index.html

Yes I do believe I hear squealing spectators running for cover.

Scroll below the previous/current/next riders. You can click on the + next to the names to see more detailed scoring.

Background sounds from NBC sound like kids at a playground-

Yes that is what I thought I saw. How about in the beginning?>

LORD, why don’t they stop? Don’t they ever?

Yes I am sure any live coverage from work is viewed with ‘Rose’ colored glasses!

Thunder. Lightening. Or rain so thick the judges literally can’t see. It’s at the discretion of the judge at C, I believe.

If they did, somebody would be shouting and grouching about having to pause in the warm up… I think we tried that already.

Then again…

75% who cares about the rain !!

BTW, I’m multitasking, trying to watch, stay up with CoTH, and entertain my needy, horny in-season JRT…every noise from Tv gets her all CRAZY:cool: my boys continue to drool outside on the deck:D

Is it me…did I just hear a chant of "AFLAC! AFLAC! " ???

This Canadian horse does… I hope he holds it together.

Beautiful brave ride by the Danish rider and her sweet horse. You wouldn’t have known it was raining!!

It is absolutely POURING! David Marcus and Capital now competing for Canada

Man, Canada is not having a good time in London. I’m going to be cheering for their SJ team to get the gold, to make up for everything else!
