Dressage!

Their artistic score from Janet Foy was a 99! 10s all around for the music, which was fantastic.

I THOUGHT that sounded familiar :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I’m just super curious to see what Charlotte uses. I’ve only seen the How to Train Your Dragon freestyles for Gio, but for London and Rio she used music that complemented the host city.

But oh, I love Edward’s music so much.

A lot’s been made of Gio being “small” but is Total US “small” as well? Or is Gal just very tall?

Total US crosses his rear legs in the Ps.

now I didn’t love Edward’s music. I didn’t see any connection with the movement of the horse to the rhythm. He is fabulous of course, nothing wrong with the technical.

Gal is very, very tall. I would guess Total US is an average warmblood size.

Total US is 16.2…Edward is just all legs

I think that has a lot to do with the fact that it was Totilas’s music. It was set to his rhythm and as you pointed out, Total US’s isn’t the same. The music itself is stunning, just doesn’t match the horse quite yet.

Am I the only one who doesn’t love Isabel’s music? It’s almost too classical for me.

Nope I’m right there with you. And honestly I don’t love Bella Rose…there’s no denying that she tries her heart out but although her piaffe is nicely active, she doesn’t sit.

Is that a play on “You’ll Be In My Heart” for their piaffe/passage?

I did love Isabel’s music. Besides being Beethoven heavy, it matched the strides. Edward’s music, I didn’t like with Totilas! Charlotte had a lovely ride and it matched the paces. But I found the music uninspiring. She did the best test I have ever seen in London.

5th place for Sabine! I am so ecstatic for her!

I remember watching videos of her many years ago when she was riding the Friesians in exhibitions and thinking, “Wow, if she got seriously into competition with the right horse, she could be right up there with the best in the world.” And now she is!

Sorry - but that horse is lacking in looks.

Who wants to explain to me Isabel’s 10 marks in the piaffe. (Just finished the second day of riding last night and on to the special now, so I’m behind.)

I can tell the difference between a good and bad piaffe, or even a 7 to 8, but apparently not entirely sure what takes it over the top to a 10. Any way to compare some 8s we saw to hers and tell me the differences?

Who, Dalera?
