Driving trails in GA

So, we have this little group (FUNDRS.com): the fun driving and riding society in Georgia. We really do have a great time but…Is there a single park, trail, recreation area that has trails that are big enough to fit a cart and will allow driving? We keep having camping trips in other states or on private land because we all can’t find anything.

So, I open it up to this group. Please help. Is there anywhere in GA that is public which allows driving (and riding). Ideal trail length would be between 3 and 8 miles. Must have trailer parking and be 100% legal and have trails or dirt roads that fit driving horses.

Watson Mill Bridge State Park near comer, GA has horse trails that are flat and fairly wide. They have a horse camping facility with barns. I’ve ridden my horses there once before a few years ago. they are worth a call.

I thought of this thread the last time I went to this trail riding facility. Many of the trails ARE wide enough for carts. In fact I’ve considered bringing my donkey and driving on some of these trails. They have camping spots and sell memberships for $100 a year which will allow you to use the trails whenever you want. Might be a little far for you though. If interested you can call the number on the website and ask.
