I have so many questions that are unanswered. Was this a race horse? A pony horse? Was it tacked up or did he somehow tack it up? How did he get access to it?
I think it was the outrider’s horse but am not positive. I can’t believe with tens of thousands of people there that no footage of this has appeared yet.
The same thing happened at Keeneland spring of last year. The parking lot next to the lower barns was used for the party buses and some drunk frat boy hopped on a filly who was being pointed toward a graded stakes race in Canada for her next outing. He tried to gallop around the shed row and she bucked him off. He was lucky he wasn’t seriously hurt (probably too drunk.) I don’t believe the filly made it to her race either.
