Drying tall boots from sweat.

I have been thinking about getting a boot dryer for my tall boots but I do not want a boot dryer that blows heat as that can’t be good for the boots. What do you all do? I can’t find a boot dryer that does NOT blow warm or heated air. I usually just leave mine lay out until they are dry and put the forms back in but sometimes they get pretty wet inside from my leg sweat.
Thanks!

I use a boot dryer from Cabelas and haven’t had an issue. But I also used to wash my charles owen helmet in the dishwasher, so maybe I’m not the best person to take tips from  .

What about using those dessicant pacs so you don’t risk heat damage? I don’t think they cost much and come in various sizes. I know when I took my custom boots to be stretched I was told the leather was still nice and supple because if the lining was too dried out it could crack when stretched so I think long term you are better off not using a boot dryer. Of course it doesn’t sound as though today’s boots last for very long anyway, so maybe that’s not an issue.

I will sometimes use rolled up magazines or catalogs instead of boot forms in my boots. They will soak up moisture, without heating up the leather. Just be sure and change them out periodically.
