This morning the the worker arrived to find a new horse either abandoned or found in the area and someone assumed he lived at the ranch. This is Santa Cruz County, Ben Lomond.
The horse is a older Andalusian cross? White, roached mane, bad teeth, bad feet, skinny, aprox 15.2 hh, friendly.
The poor guy is having trouble eating from his bad teeth and we have quarantined him as we have no idea of his health although his eyes and nose are clear.
Would love to know where he came from and or let his owner know where he is. Animal control has been notified in case someone is looking for him which I sadly don’t think they are.
So sad…please contact me if you have any idea who this horse is.
