Dutch breeders, what would you cross to?
I wold consider Quaterback but he doesn’t really pass along the gaits. I do like the idea of outcrossing to a Donnerhall. My initial choice was Damon Hill, but I heard the frozen was not good. Has anyone heard how Desperado throws and how his semen is?
I have to disagree with that a bit. I have seen a bunch of Quaterback mares and almost all were above average movers, even with decent walks. Right now I am really liking his Celle son Quaterhall and it brings the Donerhall blood in. I saw about a dozen of his mares this past summer and almost all were well above average movers and lovely type. Quaterhall himself is quite nice. Celle has video of him online.

Also, very popular right now are the F-line stallions…Fidertanz, Floriscount, Finest, Franziskus. Since the foal will be for sale you may want to look at them. As I have said many times before I absolutely love Floriscount.

Of course, this is all without seeing your mare or knowing what improvements may need to be made:)

I thought Rubignon was approved Dutch - and he throws nice temperment (which could help with the Jazz/Fero potential hotness).

Jazz x Ferro is nice lines but for sure need to look at temperament on what you breed too. Have any pictures of her or anything you like to improve on? I assume your breeding for resale as your asking about marketability. Who’s your target buyer?
