So excited!! I’ve compete all my crazy traveling, icky business related meetings and LONG days. Flying home tomorrow and will be ready for a long, very fun-filled weekend!!
I’m packing tonight as I head to Richmond tomorrow-work related, but am stuffing my suitcase for The.Big.Weekend!

Had my last riding lesson before the hunt last Friday. After a hard workout including no stirrup work and lots of 2 point I feel like I am READY!

Bringing along a junior rider and her mom! Young Mara, (13) will be the AVH’s youngest member! We’re really looking forward to it. Of course, I still have visions of bringing Queen B “dressage horse gone wild” down… for 4 years I’ve been trying to make the trek to VA with her… she reads my mind and injures herself… So, it will probably be my lovely new grey Irish mare that will join the junior’s young mount in the trailer.
Rolling in to town mid-day Friday. Hoping to have enough time to hack out with the group for a trial ride! Hunt Sat, bluegrass Sat. eve, and hang around to recover on Sunday morn. :lol:
I guess I better start packing! Trailer inspected, truck tuned up, horse in one piece… We’re off to a good start. Now if only I had black ink to print my hunting license I’d be in good shape.

Yay! the NJ peeps are coming! The NJ peeps are coming! AND …they are bringing the grey horse who I’m pretty sure ain’t gonna make it home because a certain person in ole virginny is planning on stealing it and switching it with one of hers so if she shrinks or changes color…it wasn’t me. :uhoh:

Please, let us know about the dinners. The last schedule I’ve got has tonight at either Hunter’s Rest or the Griffin Tavern. Friday is at Black Bear Bistro.
Dinner tonight is just me and Cheval Convert so I was going to leave it 'til the last minute to decide. Literally. See how we feel after we ride.
Tomorrow Friday ride at 4 pm’ish, dinner at the BBB at 730, I’m hoping so we have time to fluff up after riding.
Dropping in to say hi and wish you all the most wonderful time this weekend! The weather is perfect and I am so sorry to miss out, it will be a great time! We had so many sightings at the Spring COTH gathering, it was phenomenal. I’ll never forget the stunning tawny fox I spotted while driving with HR from the Point-to-Point, we hit the brakes and pulled off to watch him carry a rodent back home for supper!

ManyDogs - I’m a 7 1/2, too but I could only find 1 and 1/2 pairs! :lol: If I find the mate to the 1/2, I’ll bring them along, as well.
