East County/San Diego H/J action?

While my horse is spending the rest of August and all of September at “summer camp” in East County (Blossom Valley area) to dodge the heat, I thought I would inquire of any favorite H/J barns/trainers in the area. I only know of one, the rest I know are way up the 15.

Anybody have any suggestions? I will be visiting Bud at camp once in awhile and would love to do some investigating.

Thanks.

I’ll email you some names, but if I’m understanding your geographical area, there’s Nancy Reed @ Sweetwater Farms in Bonita. She’s very friendly, a good horsewoman and easy to talk to. They hold San Diego County shows there, too. Oh… and Nancy occasionally posts here!

Thanks Merry, Sweetwater isn’t too far off, but it is more South than East I think, but hey in the area.

A little light came on, like why don’t I look into some lessons on some school hunters. Then poor Bud won’t have to put up with as much from me when I decide to start him over fences. He has the patience of Job thank goodness.

We will just see.
