Easy to clean white horse boots???

I have the new DSB IIs from Dover Saddlery. They have a patent exterior that wipes clean very easily. They come in white.

I opted for the PC VenTech boots. Only $36 and look very similar to Majyk. I won’t go for anything with fleece since I also do low level eventing and the main point was something that doesn’t pick up black footing! White fleece would be on the “no-way” list. But I appreciate all the feedback!!!
Where did you find these for $36? PC has them listed for $97 and they don’t look anything like the Majyk boots more like SMBs nd made of neoprene - am I looking at the wrong boots?

The all purpose boots are $36 at smartpak. These look more like Woof boots. The elites look like smb’s. Poor marketing choice by PC in my opinion, to give both boots the same name.

They’re going for $27 right now at State Line Tack!! I’ve been using these for several months and they are perforated for air flow, which is very important during hot summer months. They don’t hold water, are very lightweight and easy to clean…for now  My horse isn’t known to hit herself hard or anything, these are for the occasional knock. If your horse hits itself regularly, you’d probably want something with a harder strike pad, but compared to Woof brushing boots, I like these MUCH better!

Can you tell me how stiff the strike plate is on these? I have a horse with large splints and don’t like anything too stiff over the splints. I usually use DSB with sheepskin or Stretch and Flex wraps - can you compare these PC boots to those for me?

Not sure if anyone suggested these already, but the Thinline boots are AMAZING. I just hose mine off and a little gentle scrubbing gets the white outer clean in minutes. No soaking, no soap, and they dry fast.

Theresak: I’d say the PC All purpose boots are a bit more substantial than Stretch & Flex wraps, but not as thick as the DSB boots. The strike plate isn’t very stiff, it feels kind of like 1/8" extra pad vs. hard plastic. I don’t think these would be too stiff to go over the splints…but if for some reason I’m wrong - since I’m just guessing, you can send always them back before using them.

Thank you very much!

I think I’m going to try them but I have another question about sizing. Are they pretty standard as to the size? My horse is usually a large in front and XL in the back. Except I’ve run into a few brands (I think Dover or Pelham Saddlery) that run big and he takes a medium in front and large in the back.

Is there something that can be sprayed onto the boots to protect them from getting stained with dirt? Like show sheen?
I don’t know but I bet if you had stained white strike pads you could use white PlastiDip to cover it.

LOVE my Veredus Piaffe Evos. They wear like iron, and are very easy to keep clean. http://www.veredususa.com/veredus-line/veredus-piaffe

I ScotchGuard all of my white stuff for shows - breeches and saddle pads. I bet you could do it on boots too. You might have to reapply every few washes though.

The PC All-Purpose boots run pretty standard. I got the standard horse size for my ISH 16.h mare and they fit fine. They didn’t seem overly big. If you’re horse is a big WB or usually takes a large, then I’d get L for these boots.

I’ve had my PoH boots, not the patent boots, for nearly 4 years and put them through the wash on a regular basis and they still look brand new!
