Back story to follow, if you want to skip right to the question it’s in the 2nd paragraph!
So my fiance and I might be moving to a new property at the end of the summer. I took a quick drive over and drove in the driveway to see what it was all about. Not really suitable for a horse because the barn is totally falling apart, but it looks like there were horses or cattle there at some point because there’s what looks like a fairly good sized pasture with a nice sturdy fence. It was pretty overgrown and I didn’t get out of the car so I’m not totally sure it’s all in good repair but for right now I’m assuming it is. The property we live on now does not have any fencing and our dog stays in our yard. However, we are in the process of adopting another one and we are not sure yet if he’ll be trusty off leash. So I thought this would be a great area for the doggies to play without having to worry about the new one wandering off.
The fence is all high tensile wire (4 strands, I think), so it’s pretty hard to see. I can just envision the dogs roughhousing and plowing right into it. Is there any good way to make sure that doesn’t happen? Some sort of bright colored ribbon? Any other good ideas?
