Easyboot Originals/boots that fit below hairline?

Long story short, I’m trying to find some boots that fit below the hairline to give my horse with sensitive skin a break from having anything touching him above the hoof. The catch is his front feet, freshly trimmed, are exactly the same length and width (130mm x 130mm). Easyboot originals are the only boots I’ve found that fit exclusively to the hoof and don’t contact the pastern area. But looking at the size chart, the closest size would be a size 2 (124-130mm w x 131-140mm l). Is there any hope of these working on hooves that are essentially totally round? OR are there any alternative boots that would fit a round hoof and fit below the hairline? TIA!

I had a horse who used to step on himself and pull a front shoe about once a year. He couldn’t walk across the ring without catching the Easy-boot and pulling it off.

So my bet is no.

I think the closest you’ll find to what you want is a glue-on boot. Even then I’m not aware of any that are equal width to length.

Would lining the pastern area of your existing boots in moleskin help reduce any rubbing, maybe?

What part of his hoof is being bothered?

Renegades cup the heel bulbs but don’t go above hairline. Scoots do seem to touch the hair above the heel bulbs but I don’t see any rubbing when I use them.
