Easycare came out with a new boot!

It’s a really neat design at a fantastic price… and I like the two-tone! However I’d be curious how well it stays on without any clamps/straps, it stays on with wide velcro only. I guess its design is based off the Old Macs.

What’d you guys think? I like it!

I’m interested to hear a review from someone that tries them, particularly in mud. I’ve got a gelding that I pull shoes on every winter but he can’t go trail riding barefoot. Regular easyboots fit him well enough but go flinging off at the canter and sometimes get sucked off in mud. He’s not compatible with the gaiters so I end up painting his boots red and looking for them.

It does look remarkably like an Old Macs…which I have been using for about 3 years with great success through mud, up rocky hillsides, creeks etc.

They seem an awful lot like Cavallo Simple Boots to me… and my Cavallos stay on through any amount of muck I can convince my horse to go through.

I agree, they look like the Cavallos, which I use every winter and love. My only dislike with them is that they wear out pretty quickly on the gravel roads, but I’m sure the easyboot material is tougher and will last longer. Discouraging to have beautiful leather “uppers” on my boots, but the soles are worn out. :frowning:

Yeah, I’m not seeing anything new here. And it would probably need a gaiter, which I hate. But it would probably stay on well, as do the Old Macs and Simples.
