I hope he was not injured too badly. :concern:
I was bummed to see this. I know it happens but its too bad that it occurred right before a major competition. He is such a beautiful rider to watch!

And, I’d like to add your signature, sometimes they hurt us.
I certainly hope for a full and speedy recovery.

Anyone can come off a horse- any time- especially a NEW horse-
If you dont know that already- good luck
Do you have any idea what these horses are exposed to at international competitions?
back injuries are the worst- hope he recovers soon

No they absolutely don’t.
I’d just like to add that I’m pretty sure there are far more tractors around a barn or at International shows than on the trails, I personally never crossed one in the wooden trails that surround the barn I board at. Just sayin’
It’s astonishing to me to think how athletic a spook must be to get him off! I hope he recovers quickly - no matter the talent or level of a rider, the ground can be quite hard and treacherous.

Did you get a little thrill from that, or do you just make snide remarks because you aren’t hacked out?

Well, it has been quite rainy here in the South. Turnout time has been at a minimum.
