This has been happening a lot lately, especially after midnight. I will post a reply in Quick Reply and then wait and wait and wait while the little circle goes around and around and then it asks me if I want to leave the page or remain. It happens when I try to post, and if I try to edit a post.
I don’t think it’s my computer because it does the same when I try to post when on my phone.

Happens a lot. And it is the reason IMO that some peoples posts/comments get doubled up.
I have found even though it seems to still be “loading” if you ( I always open topics in a new window) go back to the main page, refresh you will see that the comment has posted. Open the old window and just close out by clicking on “leave this page” when asked.
It has happened to me, maybe just once or twice. (Desktop using Windows 8, IE.)
It is constant with me, and very frustrating and yes, this is the reason some people double post, because it makes you think you lost your post.
The board was ‘down’ for me this morning and now it is incredibly slow and doing the “circle of death” thing for me on every post.
