I’m currently fighting this in my western saddle, but it’s not the saddle. It’s my stirrup length, which is short from years of riding hunters. It’ll change when and if you eventually let those stirrups down a bit.
It looks lovely and she certainly looks happy in it.
Looking at her picture the stirrups do look tad short for western.
Oh totally. Thats a me thing, even in a dressage saddle I prefer them shorter than they should probably be. I’m working on it!

100% - I’m working mine down after years of riding short even for flat work. It’s tough, and I’ve discovered the way I mounted with a short stirrup does not work with a long stirrup. Talk about feeling stupid when I can’t get on with a long stirrup. But I kept trying to take it down all the way instead of working my way down.
