Why are these horses so cheap? I know that it is the starting bid at the auction, but I have seen final prices at these auctions that are waaaaaayyy less than what I would pay if the horse were here in the US (even including the importation and quarantine expenses). I am looking at horses for fun right now, but am wondering why they are so cheap compared to horses here in the US. If these horses were in the US, they would probably all be starting at $50 K.
