Election Day! Who Has Voted?

According to the news, there have already been 79 million people who voted. That’s a big number.

I’m included in that number since I voted by mail weeks ago.

Come on, people. Vote, vote, vote!!

Also, Lyft is offering a deal for rides to the polls.

You can also get a free donut at Krispy Kreme if you show them your “I voted” sticker today.

I voted early. Never voted early before but I wanted to make sure my vote was in in case I got into a car accident or something.

I voted this morning. My polling place across the street. Long lines.

I didn’t notice until later what song was playing on the stereo when I took that pic. It’s actually pretty fitting, IMO.

Oh, MAN! I don’t think I kept my sticker. Bummed.

Maybe they would take your word for it? Worth a shot, anyway. :woman_shrugging:

On the news last week, they actually showed a clip of the original Broadway cast of Hamilton as they were explaining the origins of the electoral college. Lol.

Joining you on the anxious Canadian couch, please make good choices today America.

I have a bottle of rum I have been saving for this evening, only question is, how long do we wait up watching the results?

I voted Saturday! Now the anxious wait…

DH and I voted. I never keep the sticker. Stickers annoy me because most of them don’t stick to my clothing very well and always start curling up around the edges.

My spouse and I voted several weeks ago by mail and got the friendly text saying they were counted (Maryland is so efficient this year) - and I’ve kindly harrassed my Pennsylvanian family and friends to vote, my mom needs to vote this afternoon once she’s done teaching but everyone else has already! One of the barn “kids” called me on the way to the polls and once she voted this morning, she’s very excited to participate.

(I’m making a big thing of spinach artichoke dip to eat my feelings tonight. I’m not a night owl but judging by how the last presidential elections went, I’m not going to be able to get to sleep easily either so might as well have comfort food)
