Else Donnell and chronic pain

USDF connection magazine has an interesting column by Else Donnell (The Tail End column “One Level at a Time”

Apparently, she was in a car accident where she fractured her sternum that was itself so slight as to be overlooked for several weeks. She developed chronic pain throughout her body that progressed until she was disabled. After 2 1/2 years of pain she went to an Integrated Manural Therapy (IMT) therapist who dianosed her with a pinched aorta in her lower back which was causing her whole body to guard the area so the aorta would not tear.
I just thought that was interesting, given the number of people who develop Fibro after car accidents.
She is now back riding and showing.
