Who are the best out there in the east coast & what Drs specifically? - closer to MA the better. Would need a recipient mare. And cost, not that I want to know…
I don’t know what ASR means so can’t answer that. I just did my first ever ET at Select Breeder’s Services and was very happy with the process. I got by as cheap as possible by being close by and extremely lucky that everything worked out first try. I brought the recip home when she was 30 days in foal. All of their prices are on their website.
Oh autocorrect attacked - Dr’s. Which vet did you use? I’ll give them a call, they have been mentioned several times. What about new bolton?
Scoffield is the doctor here in MD, he is fantastic. They do have more than one clinic so may have something closer to you, not sure.
My vet recommended SBS over New Bolton because she had worked closely with them and even donated a recip mare so I chose them for that reason. I am sure NBC would be good too. The main difference that I noticed is NBC makes you purchase the recip while SBS leases them. The fees were more or less the same.
I would not recommend Scofield at SBS. He may have done a good job for a lot of people, but my experience with him was so negative that Hilltop farm had to get involved to read him the riot act.
